Collaborative Hydrological Classification of Spanish Stations and Reservoirs
CAMELS-ES maps Spain's gauging stations with discharge series and catchment attributes. BEAVERS-ES adds reservoirs with storage, outflow, and evaporation data. Together, they form a unified dataset for training deep-learning hydrological models — and KAJO is where experts collaboratively validate it.

Part of a Global Effort
CAMELS-ES
Catchment Attributes and MEteorology for Large-sample Studies — Spain. 1,093 gauging stations with discharge time series, meteorological forcing (ERA5), and catchment descriptors.
BEAVERS-ES
Basin and rEservoir Attributes, Volume, Evaporation, and Release TimeSeries — Spain. 347 reservoirs with storage, outflow, evaporation, and inferred inflow series.
CARAVAN
A global, open-source initiative by Kratzert et al. (Google Research) that unifies national CAMELS datasets into a standardized format. CAMELS-ES v2 — validated through KAJO — will contribute Spain's data.
Deep-learning hydrology models need better training data. KAJO makes that data trustworthy.
